RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday)

Unit Overview

• Cardiac Cath Lab with 7 holding beds
• Equipment includes GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation systems: MacLab, Meditech
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month
• Floating within related departments: Electrophysiology (EP) and Stress Lab
• Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital
• Recognized with Daisy and Sunflower Awards
• Experienced staff and new technology available

Procedures Performed

• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure
• Atherectomy
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Right and Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
• Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)

This position is a travel assignment offering a specialized cardiac cath lab experience in a high-acuity hospital setting.
