RN - Rapid Response

Job Overview

• Travel RN role in an emergency department
• 6-week assignment
• 48 hours per week
• Start date is 5–7 days from offer
• No RTO or special scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• TNCC
• ENPC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Rapid Response experience

Unit Details

• Emergency department
• 40+ beds
• 120+ staff
• Typical patient ratio: 4:1, with 3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume

Common Responsibilities

• IV starts and phlebotomy
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation

Preferred Experience

• High-pressure experience in a previous job
• Previous medical experience

Work Environment

• Uses cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak equipment

Dress Code

• Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
