Job Opportunity: Med Surg Nurse (4EA)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana

Position Details

Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) with remote telemetry
Unit: 4EA Med/Surg, 32 beds
Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, night shift
Telemetry:
- Patients have telemetry only if ordered
- Telemetry monitored 24/7

Patient Population

Stable ventilator patients
Bipap patients
Renal patients (Acute/Chronic Renal Failure)
Dialysis patients
Fluid overload cases
Medical and surgical patients

Requirements

Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in Med Surg
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
IV Drips Experience:
- Dopamine 5mcg constant rate (no titration, only for renal perfusion)
- Heparin administration
On Call: Not required
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Other:
- Must be willing to work within a 100-mile radius rule
- No local candidates within 50 miles accepted

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (3 months)

Additional Notes

ASAP start to backfill a backout
36 hours per week schedule
