Job Description

A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Radiology/CT Technologist for a travel contract. The candidate will perform imaging studies including all X-ray and CT scans.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Weekend work: May be required depending on need
• Holidays: Work as needed

Imaging Modalities

• Radiology: X-ray and CT
• MRI: MRI scans (performed by MRI techs)
• Nuclear Medicine: Nuclear medicine scans (performed by Nuc Med techs)
• Ultrasound: All ultrasound except echo and legs; perinatal ultrasound limited to high-risk OB cases

Equipment / Systems

• Cerner EMR
• DR PACS
• Phillips imaging equipment

On-site Support

• Radiology supervisor available
• Hospitalist or intensivist in-house
• Radiology technologists available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• No IV team

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Active California state license for Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) with CT certification
• Fluoroscopy license
• BLS certification
• RDMS certification

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Weekend and holiday shifts may be assigned based on facility needs.
