Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient radiology/CT assignment at a Level III trauma facility in California.

Details

• Outpatient care setting within a Radiology & CT department at a Level III trauma facility
• Performs all standard X-ray and CT imaging studies
• Uses Cerner EMR, DR PACS, and Philips equipment
• 8-hour day shifts
• Weekend coverage may be required depending on facility need
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) license required
• California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license and R-credential required
• CT certification preferred
• Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• The Radiology & CT unit works alongside MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound technologists
• A Radiology Supervisor is on-site
• Orientation is 12 hours
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
