Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts using the nursing process.
Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Prepare patients for digestive health procedures, including starting IVs and providing patient education.
Monitor and sedate patients during procedures.
Care for patients in both phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
Assist anesthesia providers (CRNA) during cases requiring anesthesia.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Take initiative for professional development and fulfill departmental competency requirements.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
