Overview
- Travel assignment in Austin, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call required
- 4 shifts per schedule
- 30-bed neuro medical/surgical unit
- Patient ratio: 1:5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Unit Details
- Meditech EMR
- Typical procedures include stroke NIH, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
- Unit equipment includes Welch Allyn Vital sign, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
