Overview

• Travel RN assignment in the Emergency Department
• 13 weeks
• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• No call required
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• 23 beds
• Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• CPI
• TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years ED experience
• ENPC instead of PALS

Unit Details

• Staffed by 40
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
• Midshift staffing includes 4 RN
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
• Typical procedures include Cardioversion, TNK, and Moderate Sedation
• Equipment includes Welch Allyn and GE
• EMR: Meditech
