Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Transfer training

Rehab scoring documentation

Unit Details

Inpatient rehab unit
15 beds
Typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, and 1 CNA on both day and night shifts
Patient ratio is 5:1, with a maximum of 6:1

Common Responsibilities

Patient transfers
Bladder scans
Dressing changes
Medication administration

Work Environment

Uses transfer equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards
Floating may include Med-Surg, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, and overflow units
Excludes ICU

Scheduling

Every other weekend and holidays
On-call is seldom, unless overall hospital census is low
