Physical Therapist

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Schedule: No weekends or call; potential to work holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Minnesota
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
• Document patient information for evaluation and maintain documentation according to departmental and regulatory guidelines
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Analyze and record therapeutic progress and recommend adjustments as needed
• Follow all guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures during therapy

Additional Information

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local placements within an 80-mile radius
• If previously employed by this facility, a minimum 6-month gap since last employment is required before re-submission
• Workdays are 8 hours with potential holiday shifts; no weekends or on-call duties
