Registered Nurse - Med/Surg ICU - Days (Contract)

Location: Pella, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

• Collaborate with the healthcare team using evidence-based practice to provide safe and optimal patient outcomes.
• Promote continuity of care through effective communication with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families.
• Direct support staff in the provision of care.
• Perform general nursing duties with critical thinking skills and minimal supervision.
• Provide care for age-specific populations including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Iowa.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
