Registered Nurse - GI/Endoscopy

Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week with shared on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in SSSU/PACU and float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Utilize strong GI/Endoscopy nursing skills.
• Perform nursing assessments including peri-operative education and care.
• Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum 1 year of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Gastroenterology experience.
• Endoscopy experience.
