Schedule

• Variable shift
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Flex schedule: 7 PM–7 AM, 7 AM–7 PM, or 3x12s

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Performs diagnostic testing in EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and polysomnographic studies
• May provide instruction and guidance to other technologists in neurodiagnostic and/or sleep disorders settings
• Sets up rooms and equipment in hospital rooms, operating rooms, or clinics
• Calibrates and maintains equipment
• Reads and scores neurodiagnostic and/or polysomnographic tests
• Takes patient histories
• Instructs patients and families on test preparation, pre-test interviews, and follow-up appointments
• May perform polysomnographic testing with oxygen therapy and CPAP treatments

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a program in Neurophysiology
• EEG Technologist experience within the last year
• 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist
• EMG Technologist experience
• Polysomnographer experience
• R. EEG T., CLTM, R. EP T., CNIM, RPSGT, or RST
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
