Job Description

Role: Registered Nurse in Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery setting
Responsibilities include Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing
On-call requirement: Approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call every 8 weeks
- Weeknight call hours: 9 PM – 7 AM
- Weekend call hours: 7 AM – 7 AM
Shift options:
- 6 AM – 6 PM
- 7 AM – 7 PM
- 8 AM – 8 PM
- 9 AM – 9 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum 2 years of PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Outpatient Surgery and Day Surgery settings
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association
PALS certification
ACLS certification
Rhythm Interpretation Exam completion prior to start
