Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (3x12-hour shifts)
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Shifts may be rotated as needed to meet operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Orientation and Onboarding

• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; video must be watched before test)
• Baseline competency exams (medication and ECG) completed during orientation
• SafeMedicate prep materials provided before orientation exam
• Photo for badge required (headshot, shoulders up, white background)
• Must be able to submit hours worked via designated system

Additional Notes

• Candidates may start with fingerprinting results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start
• Physical exam and eye exam do not need to be updated annually if currently on assignment without a break; new exams required if gap exceeds 30 days
• Medical and religious exemptions for vaccines and fit mask must be approved through agency and facility process
• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during assignment
• Must comply with all facility and agency documentation and verification requirements

This position is ideal for experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RNs who meet the licensing and certification requirements and are comfortable with rotating 12-hour shifts in a high-acuity hospital setting.
