Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical - Neuro Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Baltimore, Maryland
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- May be assigned to other units as needed to support hospital operations
Unit Description
- Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center
- Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- Primarily neuro-related patients, with telemetry overflow for other patient populations allowing diverse nursing practice
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Neurology experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
