Assignment Length

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Manage nursing care from admission to discharge
Support patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and restorative care
Respond to medical and environmental emergencies

Work Expectations

May float to other units within scope of practice
May float to other campuses depending on need and census
Must be flexible with floating between campuses or within the hospital
Short notice may be given before shift start when floating is needed
