Overview

Travel/contract role in El Paso, Texas
26-week assignment
Night shift: 4x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekend rotation
No block scheduling
Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required before start
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Tdap or Td vaccination, or declination if unable to obtain
COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption
Flu vaccination required during flu season
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or acceptable documentation if non-immune

Additional Requirements

Pharmacology competency exam
Unit competency exam
Facility onboarding documents and signed acknowledgements required before clearance
Photo for badge required
Employment application required
Background check required within 30 days of start and updated annually

Notes

Cerner is used for charting
Prior travel experience is preferred
One holiday RTO request may be submitted for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s dates listed in the source
