Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
13-week assignment
12-hour shifts: evening 3:00 PM–3:00 AM or day 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
On-call required if cancelled
May float between units based on unit needs
48 hours approved

Unit / Clinical Setting

Labor and Delivery
Expected ratios: 1:1 and 1:3 couplets
May float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum
High Risk OB experience is specifically noted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
High Risk OB experience
Post Partum experience
Antepartum experience
Ability to float to sister facilities (Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent)
NURSYS verification required for all RNs
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask required
Negative TB or chest X-ray required
Tdap within 10 years
Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella documentation required
Drug screen required
Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
COVID vaccination record or declination required
RespSafety clearance required
Background check required
Education verification required
State-specific Washington/Oregon border-state screening requirements may apply if floated to applicable locations
