Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

Location: San Dimas, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Day (06:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Setting: Peri-operative / Operating Room (OR)

Job Summary

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Direct and guide OR technicians and other personnel.
Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure efficient patient flow.
Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
Act as a resource for other personnel.
Must be able to take call.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
OR Circulate experience
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
Completion of DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic
