Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

Location: San Dimas, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Day (06:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Setting: Peri-operative / Operating Room (OR)

Job Summary

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Direct and guide OR technicians and other personnel.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
• Act as a resource for other personnel.
• Must be able to take call.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• DCI/BVP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Orthopedics experience
• ENT Surgery experience
• Experience with Epic
