Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Psych - Behavioral Health

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule:
- 2 shifts of 8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- 2 shifts of 12 hours (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
- Total 40 hours per week
Holidays and every other weekend required
Weekend off requests require coverage or prior approval
Blocked scheduling must be pre-approved
May be trained for charge nurse responsibilities
Possible floating to a similar inpatient addiction rehab unit
Uniform: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Behavioral Health experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Driver's License

Additional Notes

Must complete detailed address history for last 28 years with no gaps for certain state-required forms
Must complete various onboarding documents and training quizzes found in the document library
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
