Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Psych - Behavioral Health

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule:

  • 2 shifts of 8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
  • 2 shifts of 12 hours (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
  • Total 40 hours per week
• Holidays and every other weekend required
• Weekend off requests require coverage or prior approval
• Blocked scheduling must be pre-approved
• May be trained for charge nurse responsibilities
• Possible floating to a similar inpatient addiction rehab unit
• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of Centralus Naloxone Train the Trainer Course
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Must complete detailed address history for last 28 years with no gaps for certain state-required forms
• Must complete various onboarding documents and training quizzes found in the document library
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
