Overview
- Travel/contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 14 weeks
- Staffing ratio: 1:2
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

- CCRN
Unit Details
- ICU patients include ischemic strokes, hemorrhagic strokes, seizure disorders, craniotomies, complex spinal surgeries, aneurysm coilings/clippings, and thrombectomies
- Unit capabilities include intracranial pressure monitoring, continuous sedation, continuous vasopressors or vasodilators, external ventricular drains, ventilators, cerebral oximetry monitoring, CT scanner on unit, and EEG techs stationed on unit
Scheduling and Assignment Notes
- Core staff are placed on call first
- Agency staff may be called
- Maximum requested time off: 7 days
- Major holidays may be required based on assignment dates
- Full compliance is required to start on time
- Candidate must be clinically approved within the stated time window before offer finalization
