Overview

• Travel/contract role in Charleston, West Virginia
• Night shift: 3x12 or 4x12, 7p-7a
• 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Unit has 24 beds
• Weekdays, every other weekend, and float are part of the schedule
• First-timers accepted
• No call requirement
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 per week options

Unit / Patient Population

• Med Rehab unit
• Patient population includes cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, and neurological diseases
• Patients typically have a care team including a physiatrist, NP, nurse, therapists as needed, and a social worker
• Therapy works with patients 3 hours a day Monday through Friday
• Average length of stay is around 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
• Rehabilitation experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care rehab preferred
• Charge experience preferred

Float Scope

• RN may be floated within scope to meet facility needs when required

Additional Notes

• Orientation is held every other week on Thursday
• Cerner is used for charting
• Royal Blue/White scrub color
• Parking garage is free for travelers
