ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: London, Ohio
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travel

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Previous travel experience

Work Expectations

• Must clock in and out for lunch
• No artificial nails, gel polish, or dip nails
• Staffing ratios vary by acuity; typical ICU assignments are 1:2 for critically ill patients and 1:3-4 for lower-acuity patients

Compliance and Onboarding

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Fingerprinting
• Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint result attestation
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu documentation
• 10-panel drug screen
• 3 professional references within 2 years
• Skills checklist
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
