• Location: Titusville, Florida
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 24 weeks
• Shift: Day, 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Hours per week: 48

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• Experience working with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Total joints experience
• Rapid Response experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Schedule and assignment expectations

• Every other weekend
• Floating required within scope
• No block scheduling
• Must be available for 5 mandatory clinical orientation shifts during the first week
• No RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• Holiday RTO restrictions apply
• Must live more than 30 miles from the facility

Compliance and onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Education verification
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance on file before start
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Fit testing completed onsite during the first week
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 3 months of start
• Two professional references within 2 years of start
• Skills checklist
• Performance evaluation within the last year, if applicable
• Facility-specific job description and onboarding documents must be completed before start

Additional notes

• Mixed-unit, high-acuity assignment
• 3 call-outs result in termination
• Refusing a shift change after 48 hours’ notice may forfeit guaranteed hours for that pay period
• Refusing a shift change with 1 week or more notice may result in termination
• Plan for at least 4 hours to complete modules before the start date
