Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Skills

Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
PCU/stepdown care
IV insulin and heparin protocols
Renal failure management
Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
Blood product administration
Tracheostomy management
Rapid response team utilization
Wound care/wound vac
Non-invasive airway management, including CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen
EPIC documentation

Compliance / Onboarding

Emergency contact form
Background check and fingerprinting required
Proof of fingerprint completion required
Background acknowledgement form for subcontractors
Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment
Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting form
Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate

Negative TB test or chest x-ray
MMR immunity: measles, mumps, rubella
