Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Clinical Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
• Experience administering or titrating medications including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban

Work Expectations

• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Summer holiday coverage may be required for 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

Additional Notes

• 16-hour NBO
• Patient ratio historically 1:7
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, unless local eligibility applies under the stated exception
