Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (IA license to be applied for at time of offer).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Endoscopy.
• Prior hospital or medical center experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Must not have been employed by this employer within the last 12 months.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification and copy of required certifications.
• Work history/resume and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Prior travel experience is preferred (at least 1 completed travel contract).
• BSN degree preferred but not required.

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
• Overtime, holiday, call back, on-call, charge, and precepting pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
• Facility is a Level 1 trauma center.
• Regional trauma center levels nearby: Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 centers in surrounding cities.
