Care Manager - ED

Location: Bronx, New York
Employment Type: Acute - Allied
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Care Manager in the Emergency Department with responsibilities including care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Minimum 5 years of Acute Care Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
PRI and Screen Certification (must be obtained within three months of employment)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
Experience in care coordination
Experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
Experience in utilization review
