Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Employment Type: Per Diem
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:

Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintaining airways and ventilator management
Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
Conducting blood gas analysis

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arkansas
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experience Requirements

Specialty experience: Minimum 2 years in respiratory therapy with vents, trachs, and airways
Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required

This is a per diem position with a one-year contract length.
Candidates must follow submission protocols as specified by the employer (not included here).
