Job Opportunity: RN - Tele (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Facility Type: Trauma Level III Hospital, 38 beds

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hour shifts)
Additional Shifts:
- 1 charge shift (12 hours)
- 2 clinical coach shifts (8 hours each)
- 1 administrative shift (8 hours) for chart review and audits
Weekend Requirement: Must work 6 weekend shifts during the contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

Staff and patient rounding
Resolve Pyxis discrepancies (2nd level)
Address barriers to room assignment and staffing plan; escalate to ED leadership as needed
Support ED charge nurse with daily productivity management
Address equipment, medical, and supply issues impacting ED care
Ensure sepsis workflow compliance
Provide real-time coaching to staff
Float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience (highest required)
Preferred: Charge nurse experience on day shifts
EMR System: Cerner
Additional: NIH certification recommended but not required

Additional Information

Scrub color: Black
Facility is a Stroke and STEMI receiving center
Leadership visibility and presence important as first level of escalation to ensure safe operations and accountability
