Overview

Travel RN position in Hickory, North Carolina
1 opening
36 guaranteed hours per week
Shift: P/A
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

Telemetry unit
24 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical

Experience / Skills

Must have experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo
Cerner experience is preferred

Patient Population

Generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly adult

Common Diagnoses / Treatments

Chest pain
A-fib
CHF
Pre- and post-care for cardiac caths (groin and radial)
VATS

Additional Notes

Travelers must start on one of the listed orientation dates
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel
Any color scrubs are allowed
