Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg experience
- Burn ICU experience
Unit Details
- 12-bed unit
- Typical ratios: ICU 2:1; med/surg and PCU 4:1
- Staffing includes charge RN, RNs, and PCTs
- Equipment includes ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
- Uses Meditech
- Floating: contract labor floats first
Scheduling
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Schedule cycles are 4 weeks
Experience Preference
- Med/surg experience
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs
