Role Overview

Travel RN for Labor and Delivery.

Asheville, North Carolina
Labor and Delivery unit
16 beds
4th floor, G Tower

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
AWHONN
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with High Risk patients
Immediate newborn care experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

Circulating experience

Unit Details

Day and night shifts include Charge nurse, PCT, CST, and RN
Patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
Equipment includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
EMR systems: Cerner and Fetal ink

Procedures

Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
D&C
Cerclage
C-Hyst

Floating

May float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU

Schedule

36 hours per week
Weekends and on-call are not required, but may be available upon approval
