Overview

• Travel assignment in Pasadena, Texas
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Unit Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab
• 3 beds
• 8 full-time staff and 3 PRN staff
• Day shift staffing depends on case load; 3-4 staff per room with at least 1 tech per room
• Night shift is call only with 2 RN and 1 tech each night
• On call is 24 hours at a time Fri-Sun

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• Previous cath lab experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• RCIS
• Experience with chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions
• Experience with ECMO

Procedures / Clinical Experience

• Heart Caths
• CTO
• high risk PCI
• Ablations: afib, aflutter, SVT, PVC
• Devices: PPM, ICD, Watchman
• Peripheral angio with/without intervention
• ECMO cannulation
• Thrombectomy
