Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Experience with Meditech

Unit Notes

• Floating as needed
• Common unit tasks include general med-surg care, IV initiation, NG tube care, Foley care, dressing changes, and ADLs

Work Expectations

• Must be competent in patient experience, AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs with Med City embroidery; proof of purchase required
• No artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair must be neat and clean; shoulder-length or longer hair must be tied back when working in the lab
• Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
