Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

• Augusta, Georgia

Employment Type

• Travel assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Night shifts including some weekends
• Approximately 36 hours per week

Unit and Equipment

• Respiratory Therapy unit
• Equipment used includes Drager ventilators, Phillips V60 CPAPs, Arivo2, and Hiflo devices
• Documentation system: Meditech

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience, including experience within the last year)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Skills and Procedures

• Advanced skills with ventilators, CPAPs, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and Hiflo devices
• Ability to perform procedures related to ventilator management and respiratory care

Dress Code

• Maroon scrubs or facility-provided scrubs
