Work Setting

  • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in South Carolina
  • Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience in a Home Health setting
  • Must be able to start on time with full compliance
  • Verification of most recent employer required
  • 2 clinical references required
  • Skills checklist within 12 months

Preferred

  • Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience highly preferred

Clinical Focus

  • Joint replacements
  • COPD
  • CHF
  • T2DM

Scheduling and Travel

  • No weekends
  • RTO max 7 days
  • Mileage paid at IRS standard rate
  • Expected travel is generally 20–30 miles per day, with some days higher
  • Not anticipated to drive more than 70 miles per day

Additional Notes

  • First timers accepted
  • If no HCHB experience, online HCHB course required before start; course cost is $250 and paid upfront by traveler
  • One major holiday must be worked if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays require working both; three major holidays require working two
  • Full-time productivity is around 25 units
  • Average daily census is 175
  • 6 visits
  • Any color scrubs are allowed
