Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN assignment in Lubbock, Texas.
- Based in a children’s hospital with a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Unit is a Level IV NICU.
- Float between units is required.
- Block schedules are required.
- On-call is not required.
- Weekend coverage is required: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, with variable self-scheduling.
- Expected ratio: 1:2-4.
- 48 hours are approved.
- Contract length: 13 weeks, with the option to extend longer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
- ACLS required.
- BLS required.
- PALS required.
- NRP required.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least Level III NICU experience.
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00.
- 36 hours per week.
