Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Binghamton, New York
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals not accepted; must live 50+ miles from the facility
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, holidays excluded
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
- 2 professional references verified within the past year
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC charting experience
Additional Requirements
- BLS is required for all clinical travelers
- NY harassment prevention training certificate
- State license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Physical exam within 90 days of start
- Respirator fit test within 1 year of start
- Respirator clearance prior to start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- Employment application
- Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
