Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Newark, New Jersey
• Day shift: 5x7.5 hours, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• 37.5 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Auto offer

Required Qualifications

• Pediatric echocardiography experience with 1 year of experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Must be able to work independently
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify clearance
• New Jersey license verification, if applicable to the candidate’s discipline
• Background check and state/federal exclusion screening
• Respiratory medical clearance
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Physical exam within the past 12 months
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• References: 2 within the last 2 years
• Employment application or resume with 7 years of work history
• Work history verification showing at least 1 year prior to start
• Pass/fail testing and competency exams required for clinical staff
• Annual education acknowledgment
• Annual influenza vaccination or approved exemption
• Annual color vision screening if job tasks require color discrimination, gloves, or respirator use

Preferred Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS FE or CCI RCCS
• Fetal echo experience

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Be proficient in pediatric echocardiograms

• Local candidates and first-time travelers are accepted
• Black scrubs required
