Overview

• Float to other medical-surgical/telemetry units, including forensics and inpatient units.
• Must be comfortable working with the prison population.
• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate.
• September-start contracts are expected to extend into the new year for holiday coverage.
• Nurses on September-start contracts are expected to work 3 of 6 designated holidays, based on holiday group assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• CPI or MAB
• SANE / Forensic experience

• 2 clinical references
• Background check
• Physical exam
• Fit test
• Tdap vaccination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• 9-panel drug screen
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Completion of required onboarding documents and facility modules before start
