Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Indiana

Job Overview

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care on a 16-bed Medical Surgical/Step Down Unit within a Critical Access Hospital.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, patient and family education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Must recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, provide stabilization, and facilitate transfers to higher levels of care.
• Requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to care for a diverse patient population in a rural healthcare setting.
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
• Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
