Job Summary

• Provide life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy to patients.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures in Intensive Care and General Practice Units.
• Maintain clinical expertise across various departmental assignments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members regarding patient care.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, orientees, externs, and students as assigned.
• Complete necessary patient billing information.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
• Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
