Unit Details

• Small unit
• Cases include ortho, spine, general, eyes, and plastics
• Flexible scheduling is needed
• Floating may occur within the facility and to another medical center if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Call is required, including one weekday and two 24-hour weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Full compliance is required before start
• Maximum RTO is 7 days
• Must work assigned holidays if they fall during the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted
• Photo ID required
• Background check required before start
• Education verification required
• Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
• Work history verification required
• 2 clinical references required
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug screen required within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required
• Color blind testing required
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
• Competency exam required
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required
