Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER (Night Shift)

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Call: None
  • Floating: May float within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
  • Holiday Work:
    • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
    • If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
    • If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
  • Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
  • Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
  • Locals Accepted: Yes, at the same rate
  • Candidate Review: Clinical screening required to determine fit before manager decision

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED), with at least some experience within the last year
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance & Policies

  • Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling
  • Candidates must review and sign the facility’s Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start

  • Candidates may be required to float within the facility as needed within their scope of practice
  • Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length
  • Agency-specific requirements apply for competency exams and health documentation uploads
  • Candidates who do not pass the color-blind test may undergo an alternative evaluation related to blood collection tasks
