Overview

Travel/contract operating room registered nurse role in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Key assignment details

Travel OR circulator role
Three 12-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, with varying days off each week
On-call required, including weekday call and periodic weekend call
No floating within scope
Block scheduling not accommodated
Local candidates accepted only if they live 75 miles or more from the facility
Pending license accepted if obtained before start
All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
5 years of Registered Nurse experience
OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Ophthalmology experience
Orthopedics experience
Neurosurgery experience

Experience preferences

Strong ophthalmology experience
Orthopedic MAKO experience
Neuro spine experience

Compliance and onboarding

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
Drug test within 90 days of start
COVID vaccination documentation or declination
Flu vaccination documentation or declination, if applicable to the season
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation as specified by the facility
Respirator safety clearance within 1 year of start, if respirator use is expected
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
