Job Details

• Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
• Employment type: Travel/Contract

• Weekend rotation every 4–6 weeks
• No call
• No float
• Coverage area: Van Buren, Calhoun, and Kalamazoo counties

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in a Home Health setting
• Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide physical therapy treatment to improve function, strength, pain, and independence
• Assess functional abilities using standardized testing
• Develop treatment plans and patient education
• Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy activities
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, treatments, and progress in the electronic health record
• Maintain accurate, legible, and complete records
• May cross-train and provide coverage in other rehabilitation departments as needed
