PICU Registered Nurse

Role Overview

Travel/Contract position in Charlottesville, Virginia
13-week assignment
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 or 48 hours per week
Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
3 weekends per six-week schedule
May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
Time off can be approved up to 40 hours
Time off is not approved for the first 2 weeks of the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatric cardiac experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
Pediatrics experience
Experience with Epic
