13-week assignment
Day shifts, weekends only
36 staffed beds
Epic charting
Navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
Surgical Oncology experience

Preferred

First-time travelers are accepted
If this is the first travel assignment, teaching hospital experience is required

Unit Details

MS Tele unit
1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios, which may flex based on staffing and unit needs
Majority of patients are surgical oncology cases involving abdomen or pelvic-area diagnoses, including Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, and Stomach
Unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions or care for post-op milestones
No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit
